Dijon, France | Carved into a corner of Dijon's oldest church is a small, weathered stone owl, standing at less than a foot tall. An unassuming figure, known as the Owl of Notre Dame de Dijon, has held a significant role for over three centuries, granting wishes to those who touch its face with their left hand. Despite its modest appearance and the wear of time, the owl serves as an informal talisman. Of course, I would not have missed my chance to have that touch of magic.. All for that much-needed luck I badly needed for the coming months.
