Over you, over again

Unloving you feels like a withered leaf

Falls from the branch, blown by the wind

Swept away, gone in vain

Grows back again

Missing you comes in endless waves

Crashes to  the shore, time and again

So long since the last goodbye

Still longs for the warmth of your embrace

Getting over you leaves this heart in cold

Frozen down to the very core

Only you could melt the pain away

Set it in flames, s'il vous plaît?

Forgetting you sounds like an ocean scream

Never wanted back, but echoing

Drowning, swimming through pain

Escaping you, only to find you again

One day I hope all the hurt will be gone

Forever  be lost in those crashing waves

This stone-cold heart will beat once more

Only for you, over and over again

'Cause  goodbyes may never be our thing

When you left, you never really leave

And I waited, the same way you did

And part of you I always kept with me
